METHODOLOGY

All the subjects completing the inclusion and exclusion criteria will be informed about the study and written consent will be taken.

1. Age and gender of the subjects will be taken.

2. Hand grip test will be performed in both the hands in which the subject holds the dynamometer in the hand which will be tested, with the upper limb in the position mentioned before.

3. The subject will be asked to squeeze the dynamometer with maximum isometric effort, which is maintained for about 5 seconds.
Note: 

• No other body movement will be allowed.
• The subject will be strongly encouraged to give a maximum effort.

4. Three readings will be taken giving 30 second rests period in between to avoid fatigue.

5. We will then measure the circumference of the arm, using two finger spacing as a gauge, with a measuring tape.

All the data will be collected and difference will be calculated and used for analysis.
